Hi! My name is Aika Rojas. I'm a sophomore in the Ateneo de Manila University taking up BS/M Applied Math: Major in Mathematical Finance. I hail from the city of love in the Visayan Region - the laid-back Iloilo City. But now because of college, I'm living islands and seas away from home in the land where the Blue Eagle soars high. Now, onto more entertaining matters...

QUIRKS
1. I changed hairstyles more often than the average girl. I've gone from really long permed hair to pixie cut. But now, I'm growing it out.:)

2. I can't sleep without a blanket, whatever the weather.

3. I believe I have OC tendencies. With magazines for example, I read from cover to cover, not because everything is interesting but, because I feel like I need to at least see all the features for the month.

4. I love Japan! Their culture is so rich and inspiring.:D

BASICS
1. I am the eldest of two girls. My sister is three years younger than I am and I miss her.:(

2. I was born on the 13th of October which makes me a Libra. Whatever that implies, check the zodiacs.

3. I am named after my dad, well, my real name, if you know what it is.:))

4. My favorite number is 17. I'm still not sure why.

5. My favorite colors now are pink, red, and black, depending on my moods. It used to be yellow.

FOOD
1. I love Japanese food. It's sinless pleasure from your mouth to your tummy!

2. I hate Hawaiian-flavored pizza. I don't get the point of it. Pizza is not supposed to taste like that.><

3. I hate cinnamon. Don't hate. I know a lot of people go gaga over this spice. I'm just not one of them. Everything about it, the smell, the taste, etc, makes me nauseous.:|

4. I like nuts but not when it's mixed in with other food like ice cream, cake, and salad. It feels wrong, okay?

5. When it comes to chocolates, I prefer hazelnut-flavored ones like Ferrero Rocher and Edo Pack because they're not too sweet.

6. My comfort candy is Potchi. I love the pink fluffy stuff. Instant good vibes!:D Which reminds me, I need to replenish my stock...

My Personal Conflict:

I live with all the logic and sense the academe has drilled in me, knowing full well that it is art that truly makes me come alive.

So, there. I hope that was enough to create a defined impression of me. Sorry for the delay by the way. "College student" is already a very demanding occupation. Add math major, dancer, closet artist, and amateur blogger to that and, maybe we can finally find out if my limit does exist.

But for now, let's assume it doesn't.;))
