If you've been to my blog before, then you would probably have noticed the little tweaks I've made recently. Along with the simplified pink layout, even my blog's title has changed. Why all the fuss?
Think of it as a reinvention.
You see, I've postponed this 30 Day Challenge for the longest time. I thought I was uninspired or maybe just plain lazy. But in the past few days, I've realized a few important things about my present self. My previous blog name, Carpe Diem, was too ambitious and failed to resonate with the life I've been leading. As I've mentioned before, I've just been through a rough time and, as my friends put it, I need to gradually pick myself up.
No pressure. No rush.
So what has that got to do with this?
Everything.
My writing, whether casual or not, is an extension of my identity. The problem is, I'm not so sure what that is anymore. So, I decided to go back to the basics. I needed a simple starting point. Looking at my page, I asked, "What am I?"
The answer?
Well, I'm just a short girl (by International standards) who loves to write (or type, whichever floats your boat). Oh, and I tend to favor the color Pink (and other shades of red since Ateneo already has enough blue).;))
